It's been a while since I contacted you, but I just wanted to pass these on to you.

When I went over to visit in July I found these photos and I think I told you I knew I had a Christmas Card sent me as a young girl with the Veryan Bay Hat, and I found it. The one entitled Barnes, is a picture of another crew member of the Veryan Bay, name of Barnes, served the same time as my Dad, and was a Barnardo Boy, came from the Barnardo Homes as an orphan.

My dad took the picture of the parade I believe. I don't know if it's the crew of the ship either, but if my Dad recalls the parade some of the shipmates will also.
